Adventures On the Road

Since my last post, I FINALLY got out of the cold of Michigan.  I’ve been on the road on a “traveling salesperson” type tour.  In the last 2 weeks I’ve been in Chicago, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and am now in Jackson, Mississippi. 

Let me tell you how happy I am to be down south.  The morning we left Philadelphia it snowed – on the FIRST day of Spring – it SNOWED.  But by that evening we were in Fort Payne, Alabama, eating BBQ and Dirt Pie and listening to some of the strongest southern accents I’ve ever heard.  Alabama is an entirely different species – although it does remind me of the movie “Sweet Home Alabama”.   It’s been a sweet ride of green grass and cherry blossoms.
